Don’t just support one politician over another. Don’t just be angry because “your man” didn’t win.
As people who do not live in Iran, we should not support their politicians: We should support their people.
We are banding together not because we feel we have been personally harmed by this election, but because the people of Iran do. They are the ones getting the bad news. They are the ones having to live in a country where they don’t feel safe, supported, and governed properly.
Do not be outraged at politics. Instead, be angry because we live in a world where even today, there is such terrible people and governments that we are able to justify violence and war.
